Improving The Quality Of Written Communications
Hi, I’m Cindy Wagner, president of Editing Ink.

I’m in the business of improving the quality of written communications. (That’s a fancy way of saying I’m a professional copyeditor.)

Unlike most kids, I really liked English class. And, when I was young, two of my other favorite activities were working the Hidden Pictures puzzles in Highlights magazine and playing Concentration.

If you think about it, copyediting is a combination of those three: using the rules of grammar and punctuation, searching every word for a typo, and remembering how the client’s term was used 10 pages ago.

Every job is a new challenge – a new Hidden Pictures puzzle. So, if you do what you do best – get your ideas on paper – and I do what I do best – those three things above – we both win, and you’ll look even better to your clients.
