St. Louis Speakers SIG Wows Attendees

ST. LOUIS (January 23, 2007) ... The 13-member Yellow-Tie, Speakers Special Interest Group (SIG), directed by Steve Smith of M.I.S. Corp., held an all-day business seminar titled "The 18 Percent Solution," and totally wowed attendees with a one-of-a-kind innovation event.

By combining a "No PowerPoint, No Kidding!" structure, a dozen business leaders limited to 18-minute presentations, an afternoon of creativity and innovation, and a venue that is second-to-none for fun and excitement, these speakers left attendees' heads reeling with ideas and hearts pounding with an adrenaline rush.

When asked, "How likely are you to recommend this seminar to others, and why?" attendees replied:

I'm telling everyone about it, because it was the best business seminar I've ever attended.

Very likely. It never hurts to figure out new ways to reach clients/prospects. Things have gotten so competitive in our business that new/different ways of doing things just may give me the edge.

I plan to invite many of our business clients to this. I felt all the material covered would assist them to improve their business.

I would recommend this seminar to others. It was a fun and creative day to review good business practices. Great resources.

This seminar was outstanding. It was a great investment in myself. I would highly recommend it to others in business for themselves or who would like to be in business for themselves.

I would recommend it. The only reservation would be that, depending on one's job, some topics might be of lesser or no relevance.

I would. I think the first program was okay ... but I'm confident it will improve for the next group.

Very likely. It was a fast paced, informative seminar that provided useful information for my business.

Very much so; and I have already recommended the seminar to a few others.

I would (and will) thoroughly recommend it.

Very likely. It provides great value for the price. The enthusiasm of the group for business development is contagious and the format is fun and exciting. Attendees can benefit immediately from the advice given. The short presentations force out the crap and keep in the jewels.

Likely. Variety of topics and briefness of presentations. Great opportunity to network.

Very likely ... I loved the energy, the fast pace. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I could see gaining a lot from Yellow-Tie.

Yes, overall a good series of workshops. Some of the topics had little relevance, but I received ideas from other presentations. Particularly impressed with Patty Cook and Charlie Scarlett's presentations. Will bring guests to the next presentations.

Very likely. The seminar was well organized, and the format with 18-minute presentations had the unintended benefit of limiting presentations which may not have been relevant to an attendee's business. I found some topics to be very motivational.

I'd definitely recommend the seminar. It was at a fantastic venue. It was obvious a great deal of organization and preparation went into the event. A lot of good information was presented and the afternoon sessions to help process and put things into action was extremely useful.

Likely. It is a good refresher, as well as, a boost/reinforcement to keep on going. Being a small business is not easy. It is beneficial from time-to-time to receive positive reinforcement for one's efforts.

Very likely, it was innovative, different and informative.

Very likely, because 1) it provided tips on a wide number of business issues/topics, 2) it was fast paced because the short presentations forced the speakers to get to the point, and 3) most of those in attendance seemed to come away with value and were glad they attended.

At least a dozen people who couldn't make the seminar have committed to attending a repeat performance, so stay tuned for a future announcement. (In fact, the Speakers SIG is looking for a corporate sponsor for a repeat performance.
